One of the most fascinating voices on today’s opera and concert stages, Alessandra Visentin has appeared in some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals, among them the Teatro alla Scala Milan, Teatro San Carlo, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées de Paris, Opera Royal de Versailles, the Salzburg Festival, the Ravenna Festival, Anima Mundi, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Festival of Macerata, Teatro Luciano Pavarotti in Modena, Opera de Reims, Festival Opera Rara and Misteria Paschalia Krakow, Umbria Musicfest,and the Performing Arts Center in Seoul,SouthKorea.

Recent seasons featured Ms.VisentininThe Girl of the Golden Westat Teatro San Carlo (conducted by Juraj Valčuhawith staging by Hugo de Ana) as well as performances of Vivaldi’s Gloriaand Dixit Dominusat Teatro Manzoniconducted by Federico Maria Sardelli. She made herdebut with Marc Minkowski and Les Musiciens du Louvre at the Musikverein in Wien, the Palau de la Musica in Madrid, the Salle de la Halle aux Grains in Touluse,and the Brucknerhaus in Linz. She also performed inBasel for Juditha Triumphansunder the baton of Andrea Marcon and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphonyin Pistoia.Shemade her debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan in Puccini’s The Girl of the Golden West under the direction of Riccardo Chailly, staged by Robert Carsen,and recorded by Decca Classics.

In recent seasons shehas sung to great acclaim in Handel’s Giulio Cesareat the Opera Royal de Versailles and at the Opera de Reims under the direction of Jean Claude Malgoire;Beethoven’s Ninth Symphonyat the Festival Anima Mundi and at the Umbrian Music Festival under the direction of Zubin Mehta; andin Paisiello’sMass Defunctorumat the SalzburgFestival, the Ravenna Festival,and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the baton of Riccardo Muti.Ms.Visentin made her debut at the Performing Arts Center in Seoul in Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans. At the Umbria Musicfest she performed in Dvorak’s Stabat Materand during the same season sang in The Kidnappingby A. Garcia Demestres and in Manon Lescaut(Musician) at the Teatro Luciano Pavarotti in Modena. At the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Teatro alla Scala,she starred Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring.
