Emiliya Kircheva soprano

Emiliya Kircheva was born in 1987 in Bourgas, Bulgaria. She graduated from the National School of Arts in her hometown with two majors: classical singing and piano. In 2010 Emiliya Kircheva graduated with a bachelor degree from the National Music Academy of Sofia ‘Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov’, where she studied with Prof. Mila Dyulgerova.  She has taken part in masterclasses of Vera Nikolova, Darina Takova and Anna Tomowa-Sintow.

During her studies in the National Music Academy of Sofia ‘Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov’she performed in Rosini’s La Cambiale di Matrimonio as Fanni and The Barber of Seville as Rosina , Donizetti’s Don Pasquale as Norina and L’elisir d’amore as Adina.
She performed in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor in and Pleven State Opera.

Since 2012 Kircheva is a regular guest soloist at Sofia Philharmonic. Besides the concerts, she performed as Damon in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, Nannetta in Verdi’s “Falstaff”, and the soprano solos in Pergolesi’s Stabat mater and Mozart’s “Missa da requiem”.
In 2013 Kircheva made her international début in Strauss’ “Ariadne auf Naxos” as Najade at Herrenchiemsee Festspiele. Later that year she performed in “La Traviata” as Annina at Klassik am See – Erlangen Festspiele.
Emiliya Kircheva’s songs repertoire includes works of Italian, French, German, Austrian, Bulgarian and Russian composers.
