Federico Cavarzan

Federico Cavarzan, Baritone

Federico Cavarzan was born in Montebelluna in 1989.
Since he was very young he has been studying lyrical singing with Soprano Elisabetta Battaglia and in 2013 he is graduated with honors at Conservatorio “A. Steffani” of Castelfranco Veneto with Maestro Enrico Rinaldo.

He attended international Masterclass with Bruna Baglioni and he is now attending the “Lina Aimaro’s Music Academy”, studying with Maestro Alberto Gazale and other guest artists such as Piero Giuliacci, Nicola Martinucci, Claudio Desderi, the director Renzo Giacchieri, and the conductors Giampaolo Bisanti and Jader Bignamini.

He made his debut in 2009 in the role of Talpa in “Tabarro” (G. Puccini).
In 2011 he performed as Ceprano in “Rigoletto” (G. Verdi), Barone in “La Traviata” (G. Verdi) and in 2013 Fiorello in “Barbiere di Siviglia” (G. Rossini) under the baton of Stefano Romani at Rossano Opera Festival.
He made his debut as Guglielmo in “Cosi fan tutte” (W.A.Mozart) in 2012, “Don Giovanni” (W.A.Mozat) in the title of role and Figaro in “Barbiere di Siviglia” (G. Paisiello) in 2013.
In 2014 he debuted the roles of Lindorf, Coppelius, Miracle and Dapertutto in “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” (Hoffenbach) in Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Novara, he also debuted Marcello in “La Bohème” (G. Puccini) in La Spezia, “Gianni Schicchi” (G. Puccini) in the title role in Padova, Belcore in “Elisir d’amore” (G. Donizetti), Bogdanowitsch in “La Vedova Allegra” in Salerno under the baton of Maestro Daniel Oren directed by Vittorio Sgarbi and sang the role of Cristo in “La Resurrezione di Cristo” of Lorenzo Perosi conducted by Marco Titotto with Orchestra Regionale of Veneto.

In 2015 he is Schaunard – La Bohème in Casale Monferrato directed by Alberto Paloscia, he is Biagio in Convitato di Pietra by Gazzaniga directed by Alessio Pizzech at Teatro Verdi of Pisa, Dancairo in Carmen at Taormina Opera Festival conducted by Myron Michailidis.
In 2016 he debuts Escamillo in Carmen at Schaffhausen for Munot Opera Festival directed by Paolo Panizza. In Fall 2016 he will be Silvano in Un Ballo in Maschera and Mathieu in Andrea Chenier at Ente de Carolis of Sassari.
On March 2017 he debuts in Manon Lescaut with the role Un Comandante di Marina at Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari, where next season he will be Il Marchese in La Traviata. In summer 2017 he is Masetto and Leporello in Don Giovanni of W.A. Mozart for Opera Camion Project – Opera di Roma.

In season 2017/2018 he is involved in La Fanciulla del West of G. Puccini with Teatro Lirico of Cagliari roles Larkens e Billy Jackrabbit conducted by Donato Renzetti and at Teatro del Giglio of Lucca and other Theatres like Goldoni of Livorno, Verdi of Pisa, Comunale of Modena, Alighieri of Ravenna conducted by James Meena directed by Ivan Stefanutti.

He also sang the Liebeslieders of Brahms and the Winterreise of Schubert.
